Cincinnati’s Pomegranates have been making artful pop-rock since 2006 and today they’re releasing their 4th album Heaven via Modern Outsider Records. Below, you’ll find early album standout “Pass Away” which features the band’s remarkable knack for catchy choruses. This time around they’re invoking a new found falsetto amid appropriately propulsive drumming and pleas of dire but not-quite-realized love. 2010′s One of Us was one of my favorite records of the year, and Heaven looks to be occupying similarly lofty territory.
